Who May Participate

All current Katy ISD students in grades 3-12 may participate in the Katy ISD mock election.

Why Should I Participate

A democratic government cannot successfully exist without the informed participation of its citizens. Yet, only 60.7% of eligible Americans voted in the last presidential election. The remaining 39.3% chose to let other people make the decision of how the executive branch of the United States government would be run for four years. This mock election is an opportunity for you to begin the habit of being an informed voter. It's your democracy make it work!

How Do I Participate

1. October 2(12 AM) - October 15(11:59 PM) use the Register to Vote link above to begin this process.
2. Enter your district student id and password.
3. Click the Submit Registration button.
4. Once you have registered, you are eligible to vote in the Katy ISD mock election on one of these dates:
       Early Voting October 27(12 AM)-October 29(11:59 PM)
       Election Day November 4(3AM-3PM)
5. From October 27^th (12 AM), use the Vote link above to cast your vote. You will need to enter your student id and password. Click on the Vote button and follow the directions on the ballot.
